Privacy overview

Coachbase is a static informational website. It does not create visitor accounts, operate an online sales process, run behavioural advertising or use an analytics service. This notice describes the limited data handling that can occur when a browser requests static pages and third-party resources used to render them. It should be read alongside the Terms of use.

Information and logs

A hosting provider may process standard technical request information needed to deliver a web page, such as IP address, requested URL, browser or device information, time of request and response status. Coachbase does not operate a database of visitor profiles or add server-side forms. Any log retention is determined by the hosting environment’s operational needs and applicable law; the site does not claim a bespoke retention period it cannot enforce.

Third-party requests

When a page loads, the browser may request Tailwind from its CDN, fonts from Google Fonts and remote photographs from Unsplash’s image delivery domain. Those providers can receive technical request information from the browser under their own privacy notices. Coachbase uses these external resources to render a responsive static reference and supply credited photography; it does not control their independent processing. No analytics tag, advertising pixel or social tracking widget is deliberately installed.

Local storage and density

Coachbase uses no cookies of its own. The optional Compact text control stores a small preference named coachbase-density in the browser’s localStorage so the reading density remains consistent on future visits. It stores only the preference value compact or comfortable; it is not used to identify, profile or track a visitor. A visitor may clear this value through browser settings, and the site will return to its default comfortable layout.

Editorial contact

The contact form uses a mailto action. Selecting Send editorial email opens the visitor’s configured email client and sends no form data to a Coachbase server. The visitor’s email provider may process the message under its own terms. Messages sent to [email protected] are used to respond to editorial feedback, investigate corrections or address website questions. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in a message.

Retention and rights

Where applicable data-protection law provides access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability rights, a person may contact [email protected] about personal information contained in an editorial email. The request should identify the relevant message or context. A person may also raise a concern with the appropriate supervisory authority. This notice is general information, not a promise that Coachbase retains data it does not control, such as third-party CDN requests or an email provider’s records.

Practical privacy choices

Readers can limit third-party requests by using browser controls, clearing site data, choosing not to load remote content where their browser permits, or reviewing the privacy notices of the providers named above. Because Coachbase is a static site, it does not offer a user dashboard, account deletion process or consent profile. The only site-controlled browser preference described here is the reading-density value in localStorage.

Notice updates

If the site’s technical operation changes materially, this notice will be revised to describe that change. Readers should check this page when returning to the reference.

The current version is dated 2026-10-10.

Review periodically.

Reference note: no travel profile

The site is a static reference publication. It does not create a traveller account, hold a booking record, process a payment, or keep a personal route profile. A visitor can read the pages without submitting a form. The only editorial contact route opens the visitor's own mail application when selected.

External sources can have their own privacy practices. A reader should review those practices before sharing information with an operator, authority or other linked service. This policy describes this publication, not a third party reached from it.
